ACFI Officer

About the role

Calvary Albury & District currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced ACFI Officer to join their team on a part-time basis working 32 hours per fortnight. As the ACFI Officer you will be responsible for ensuring optimal care is achieved for our residents by assisting with assessing and maximising funding as it relates to complexity of care.

Working alongside the home manager and clinical staff, you will assist the home in ensuring to maintain quality lifestyle for our aged care residents' whilst also ensuring that the standard of care and services provided comply with legislative requirements.

What you bring  

• COVID-19 vaccination is a mandatory requirement unless assessed exempt 
• Influenza vaccination is a mandatory requirement unless assessed exempt 
• Have sound knowledge and understanding of all revenue opportunities, specifically the Aged Care Funding Instrument.
• 5+ years aged care clinical experience.
• Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse, with current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
• Current Drivers Licence and ability to travel.
• Proven ability to lead and work as part of a team.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated computer literacy.
• An ongoing commitment to work within the Calvary Mission, Vision and Values.
• Understanding that the role requires frequent travel to Calvary facilities and work hours may be variable
