About the role

Calvary North Adelaide Hospital have been delivering Babies since 1902 and provide care to more than 1000 women and families annually.

Calvary North Adelaide is a Level 5 Private Maternity Service including a level 2 Special Care Nursery and 24 hour access to Intensive Care services on site.

We offer Antenatal education and care, Birthing, SCN, Post Natal care and clinics.

Working in conjunction with Obstetricians and Paediatricians our Midwifery team provides excellence in women centred care in accordance to the Calvary mission and values of Healing, Hospitality, Stewardship and Respect.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working within the Midwifery Team under the direct supervision of Registered Midwives and Nurses
  • Delivering a consistently high standard of professional clinical care to women and babies at all times
  • Promoting a positive and all-inclusive team environment
  • Working within the scope of practice for the Undergraduate Midwifery Position 

What you bring 

  • Current enrolment within a recognised University degree of Midwifery, with the successful completion of first year.
  • All required proof and compliance of immunisations 
  • AHPRA registration
  • Current WWC and SAPOL certification checks
  • A positive attitude with willingness to learn
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
