About the role

Due to retirement, an exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit for a Buildings and Infrastructure Manager at Calvary North Adelaide Hospital, a heritage listed building, steeped in many years of history. The Facilities Manager is responsible for the compliant management of all the Calvary North Adelaide Hospital (CNAH) planned/preventative and reactive maintenance. The maintenance is to be delivered in accordance with the CNAH Maintenance Management Framework and to the standards detailed in the CNAH Performance Management Framework. The Buildings and infrastructure Manager is to ensure that all legislation and compliance requirements are met and that the CNAH remains compliant. The Buildings and Infrastructure Manager is also responsible for the management of the maintenance team, subcontractors, Fire and Security management and reporting maintenance performance to the CNAH executive.

What you bring 

  • Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Previous building management experience
  • Demonstrated experience in the leadership, mentoring and management of a diverse team of staff and subcontractors
  • Demonstrated experience in the management of fire, emergency and security issues
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
