Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics, Urology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Surgical and Medical Care. We have a modern Maternity and Women’s Health Unit, which is a 27 bed ward, comprising of 2postnatal beds, 4 birthing suite rooms and is supported by a 7 bed Level 2 Special Care Nursery.
Since our first baby was born in 1941, Calvary Lenah Valley Hospital has provided mother and baby centred services in our Maternity Unit. We are proud of our reputation for providing high-quality obstetric services in a warm and caring environment.
About the opportunity
As the Clinical Nurse Educator – Women’s Health, you will coordinate, deliver and evaluate clinical nursing education programs to support the midwifery and nursing service across the Maternity and Women’s Health Unit. You will provide clinical supervision, both one-on-one and in group settings, to promote and support excellence in professional practice through empowering Nurses and Midwives in their development of evidence-based clinical skills and competencies in line with the relevant standards, policies, and procedures..
This is a permanent position, which may be full time or part time to suit the needs of the candidate.
