About the role
The Nurse Unit Manager is responsible for providing leadership, and safe, effective and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment.
Reporting to the Clinical Services Manager, this is a 12-month fixed-term full time position at Calvary Lenah Valley Hospital in the Endoscopy Unit, commencing January 2023 with the opportunity for ongoing part-time hours from January 2024.

Management of human, material and financial resources
What you bring
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, current practicing certificate
Experience in the relevant practice setting
Demonstrated management, organisational and leadership skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrates a commitment to best practice
Computer literacy
Understanding risk management with the ability to initiate and implement quality programs
Post graduate qualification relevant to position/or working towards to same
Previous experience in a management role
Membership of relevant professional organisation/s - GENCA
