About the role

An exciting opportunity exists to join our growing Allied Health team as a Clinical Psychologist or Health Psychologist. This role is to cover maternity leave with the possibility of extension and additional hours ongoing. The successful applicant will provide psychology assessment and intervention for acute and rehabilitation services working across multiple wards in a newly established state of the art health care facility. They will work as part of a large multi-disciplinary team to provide evidence-based and holistic care to achieve positive health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse caseload
  • Participate in the multi-disciplinary management of patients throughout their healthcare journey
  • Provide supervision and guidance to team members and students
  • Contribute to the development and evaluation of high quality services
  • Participate in professional development and education of colleagues

What you bring 

  • Extensive experience in Clinical or Health Psychology assessment and interventions
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant disease, conditions and hospital presentations
  • Full practicing AHPRA registration and participation in clinical supervision
  • High quality communication and organisation skills
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
