About the role

 

 

Located  at Calvary John James Hospital the CSSD Technician semi autonomously ensures sterilised medical equipment is available for use in all relevant areas where reusable medical devices are utilised.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • The collection, cleaning, packaging and sterilisation and storage requirements of medical equipment
  • Complete documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures and Industry Standards; monitor compliance and report non-conformances using appropriate method
  • Participate with daily controls, testing, monitoring and validation requirements

What you bring 

  • Current Certificate III in Sterilisation Services or equivalent preferred. Training given to suitable candidate.
  • Demonstrated experience working as a Sterilising Attendant or Technician
  • Effective communication and problem solving skills
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
