About the role

The Director of Nursing and Corporate Services is responsible for functioning as a key member of the Executive and is responsible for Nursing and Corporate Services within the facility and providing a shared responsibility for the leadership of all facility staff. This position is accountable for effective clinical and corporate governance, organisational and strategic management, service planning, development and management of efficient allocation and utilisation of nursing and corporate workforce to assist in the delivery of high quality clinical services in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team and disaster management. The role is paramount in promoting nursing leadership where individuals understand their roles and responsibilities and are empowered to be effective in their role. This position provides visible and accessible nursing leadership promoting a positive workplace culture based on the mission and values of the organisation.
