 About the role

As a member of the Calvary Community Care team, you will deliver quality services to meet the needs of our acute clients and contribute to a positive experience whilst at Calvary Community Care. Assist in planning, assessing and evaluating our clients needs with the help of our multidisciplinary team, to promote positive health outcomes. The Enrolled Nurse provides clinical support to our clients and collaborates with our support workers to deliver exceptional care to our clients in the community. The role provides nursing services to clients across the metro area within their homes. The role is flexible with shifts and works within a great team environment. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Seeing clients within their homes 
  • Escalation of concerns for any clinical clients 
  • Wound care, medication administration, etc.
  • Documentation 
  • Ongoing upskilling is provided within the role 

What you bring 

  • AHPRA Registration and current First Aid Certificate
  • Current Drivers Licence ad use of own care
  • Acute Nursing Experience Essential 
  • Recent nursing/clinical experience in the last 5 years or evidence of a refresher course
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Initiative and the desire to continually improve client care
  • Capability to prioritise tasks and achieve goals within set time frames
  • Candidates with an understanding of the community nursing sector - Home Care Packages, Department of Veteran Affairs and Commonwealth Home Support Program will be considered favourably
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
