About the role
Calvary Kooyong is a brand new site located in Caulfield. This precinct will co-locate Calvary Bethlehem Hospital, a residential aged care facility, Huntly Suites, and an independent living facility, Hyson Apartments. For more information about the precinct, please visit our website.
As the Enrolled Nurse, you will work in collaboration with the Registered Nurses and Management to provide resident focused care. You will work collaboratively with residents, the Clinical Team and family to ensure individualised care is of the highest standard.
Your main duties will include:
Participate in care planning and assessments as directed the Clinical Care Coordinator/Care Coordinator or Registered Nurse
Coordinate the delivery of quality clinical services as directed by the Registered Nurse to meet individual resident needs
Respect each resident and ensure that they are treated with dignity and given opportunities for making informed decisions particularly concerning their day to day routine.
About you
Diploma of Enrolled Nursing and valid AHPRA registration, medication endorsement and first aid certificates
Strong communication, negotiation and influencing ability
Commitment to continuous quality improvement
Demonstrated empathy and patience with the older person
Demonstrated respect for residents’ privacy, dignity, esteem and choice
Demonstrated high standard of verbal and written communication skills
Commitment to a Person-Centred model of care
