About the role
Calvary Community Care are seeking Enrolled Nurses to work in Darwin. You will look after home care package clients level 1 to 4.
Provide clinical/nursing duties as delegated by the Registered Nurse and/or requested by Service Coordinator.
Work within the professional and legal boundaries pertaining to an Enrolled Nurse.
Maintain clinical skills by participating in training programs as required, mandatory training such as First Aid, annual CPR and manual handling.
Liaise with the Registered Nurse, General Practitioner and/or carers re clients’ well-being and report immediately any concerns re clients’ status
What you bring
AHPRA Registration and current First Aid Certificate
3 years working experience in community nursing or residential aged care nursing or a desire to move into this field of nursing
Effective communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
Initiative and the desire to continually improve client care
Capability to prioritise tasks and achieve goals within set timeframes
Candidates with an understanding of the community nursing sector - Home Care Packages, Department of Veteran Affairs and Commonwealth Home Support Program will be considered favourably
A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
