About the role

The Enrolled Nurse – Medication Endorsed is responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment.
You will be rostered shifts equivalent to your contracted hours and may be allocated to various units, when hospital capacity is increased or asked to back fill unplanned leave or provide enhanced Nursing observation. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan appropriate care following assessment in consultation with the patient and registered nurse
  • Implement planned care as delegated
  • Document nursing care in patient records
  • Support and inform patients and their families to ensure any direct impact on patients and their families is understood to enable patients to make informed decisions
  • Maintain an effective personal and professional development plan

What you bring 

  • Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
  • Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills, customer service skills and the ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated commitment to own personal and professional development
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
