About the role Graduate Nurse Program 2023
The Graduate Nurse program is designed to be flexible to meet the learning needs of each graduate. We provide a personalised and supportive environment to enable you to consolidate and further develop your skills and knowledge that will enhance your future career opportunities.
Graduate nurses will develop the assessment and critical thinking skills required to effectively nurse patients requiring palliative care and those with progressive neurological conditions. Those accepted into the program will benefit from a structured program which includes extensive supernumerary time, 4 study days plus 2 days in our specialist areas, as well as a structured debrief and skills enhancement and review program. Graduate nurses are further supported by nurse educators and our preceptorship program.
Positions are 0.8EFT with no night duty requirement.
