  • Looking for an experienced Administrator to join our team at Rye Sands VIC

 About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic administrator to join our diverse, compassionate and dedicated team to provide effective and efficient administrative support and customer service in a busy health care setting. Our Administration Officer plays a key role in liaising with staff, clients and their families and ensuring the delivery of exemplary customer service. 

Our Rye Sands facility is ideally positioned in a quiet setting and just moments away from the beach, Calvary Rye Sands residential aged care home has been designed to deliver a new benchmark in aged care services to the Mornington Peninsula.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a strong focus on customer service excellence and represent the Calvary Brand with each internal/external customer transaction.
  • Support and promote the Home and organisation in a positive and professional manner at all times.
  • Deliver a high level of customer service to all key stakeholders.
  • Presenting a caring and customer focussed experience to any visitors to the Home through being the first point of contact with the Home

What you bring 

  • Ensure that the administrative activities of the Home are clear and timely in order to support the smooth delivery of consumer care.
  • Facilitate communication with residents and/or their representatives, and other key stakeholders in relation to office administration requirements.
  • Reception duties including answering phones, meet and greeting visitors/contractors and booking and confirming appointments.
  • An effective listener with the ability to communicate at all levels both orally and in writing with excellent presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to work both within a team environment and autonomously
  • Proficient knowledge and application of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
