About the role


The HR Coordinator will provide assistance and guidance to managers within the Virtual Care Centre on a range of people-related matters. Reporting to the National Talent Solutions Manager, the position will also partner with hiring managers to provide end-to-end recruitment and onboarding of all VCC employees and ensure all compliance obligations are met in accordance to legislation, award and Calvary’s policies and procedures.


Key Responsibilities


  • Coordinate the administration of compliance across the VCC in accordance to Calvary’s policies and procedures and relevant legislation
  • Respond to HR queries as appropriate, or refer to internal partners as required
  • Administer all changes to employment processes within the VCC
  • Work with the National Talent Solutions Manager and hiring managers to develop attraction and selection activities 
  • Build relationships and form alliances with internal and external counterparts and stakeholders
  • Liaise with the payroll team on contracts processing and managing the accuracy of Chris21 data
  • Any other duties appropriate to this classification as required


What you bring 


  • Qualification in a Human Resources or related field or studying towards a relevant qualification
  • In-house experience in recruitment and selection, ideally within a health or related sector
  • Demonstrated experience in working with people systems
  • Must have a clear understanding of the end to end recruitment lifecycle and on boarding processes, including drafting of employment contracts
  • Demonstrated experience headhunting potential candidates and sourcing resumes from various job boards
  • Experience with Chris21,and full understanding of HR functions and best practices
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection and analysis
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
