About the role
The Injury Management Advisor is responsible for assisting the organisation to achieve successful return to work outcomes for injured employees and minimising compensation liability.
About you
Certificate IV Rehabilitation Management.
Return to Work Coordinator qualifications
Demonstrated experience in injury management including the submission and management of workers compensation claims and the successful management of non-compensable claims.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
Proven ability to work in a team and achieve positive outcomes for injured workers and the organisation.
Proven analytical abilities including the capacity to assimilate information from multiple sources; interpret and apply legislation and policy within complex frameworks using sound judgement.
Demonstrated planning, prioritising, and organising skills ensuring the timely completion of activities while maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills with the ability to deliver positive outcomes, while maintaining productive relationships with stakeholders.
Sound written and oral communication skills, with the capacity to communicate clearly, confidently and succinctly.
Demonstrated understanding of Work, Health & Safety Act and Regulations 2011, The Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988, Workers Compensation Act 1951 and other legislation related to the role.
