About the role
The Life Stories Program (LSP) Coordinator at Calvary North Adelaide Hospital provides high-level support to the volunteer team within the Mary Potter Hospice. This rewarding role will build and support our LSP volunteer team make a real difference to people in palliative care who would like to record their story, write letters or create a memory box. This is a part-time role of 15.2 hrs a week which can be flexible and worked over 3 working days.
Your main duties will include:
Volunteer recruitment and on-boarding
Volunteer training, education and engagement
Supporting Volunteers with sensitive conversations.
Stakeholder engagement with key personnel within Calvary North Adelaide.
About you
Proven ability to engage and retain volunteers.
Ability to coordinate and manage tasks.
Advanced interpersonal and communication skills.
Resilience and high level of emotional and social intelligence.
Ability to support sensitive and challenging conversations.
Demonstrated integrity and professionalism.
High-level computer literacy.
