About the role
We're seeking a creative and experienced media and communication lead to develop and execute media relations and storytelling that engage our consumers and empower our people. Reporting into the Head of Communications, the role requires the ability to work in cross-functional teams across a national footprint.
Your main duties will include:
- Develop and deliver Calvary’s external media campaign to promote, uplift and protect the organisation's reputation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts.
- Monitor the health sector landscape to identify positive and reactive media opportunities and participate in on-call duties.
About you
Experience in a senior communications role within a complex organisation.
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a matrix environment, contributing to achieving team and organisational objectives
Detailed knowledge and experience across a range of communications channels and tools including EDMs, videos, websites and social media platforms
Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills to develop innovative, results-driven solutions
Highly developed interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong and effective working relationships with team members, internal clients, stakeholders and service providers.
