National ICT Infrastructure Team Lead

About the role

The main responsibilities of this role is provide to lead a team of technical staff; you will be responsible for the delivery of several ICT infrastructure related projects. Using your technical background and leadership skills, you will work with the team to ensure that Calvary systems remain stable while looking for opportunities for improvements

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate system requirements, develop system plans and documentation, review and evaluate existing systems, and design and modify systems to meet Calvary needs.
  • Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are achieved; service quality and overall expectations are met or exceeded
  • Effectively monitor, control and support service delivery, ensuring systems and procedures are followed
  • Build and maintain client relationships both internally and externally
  • Provide reports to an agreed schedule (or on request), including performance and data centre performance reports.
  • Participating in the technical evaluation and selection of products and services.
  • Complete research and explore ideas to help solve complex business problems

What you bring 

  • Excellent knowledge of ICT Infrastructure systems, software, technologies, communications and suppliers to support business operations
  • Project management experience as well as experience with Managing Infrastructure Service Providers
  • Strong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively on technical and business issues both internally and externally
  • Personal attributes such as strong influencing skills, integrity, focus, diligence, flexibility, self-motivation and professional discretion
  • Innovative thinker - able to turn customer requirements into workable solutions
  • Strong research, analytical and complex problem-solving skills, including the ability to find, analyze, synthesize and present information
  • Flexible but methodical and thorough approach - process oriented
  • Knowledge and experience of change management processes and implementation.
  • Experience in ICT Infrastructure in Health Care desirable
  • Relevant IT qualifications with the equivalent of BSc or MSc desirable.
