About the role

The Network Technician will be the onsite resource working with other Calvary teams to setup and maintain the ICT infrastructure on the new Calvary Kooyong redevelopment project.

The role will involve working with Calvary National ICT team, the Project Builder and Managed service providers to install and manage network, server, fleet, telephony and corporate application infrastructure.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation and setup of ICT network, server and telephony infrastructure
  • Responding to enquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel and outside vendors, etc. to provide technical assistance and support
  • Fault finding and resolving issues
  • Coordinate and facilitate external service providers installing systems in the new building
  • Actively participate in and support building commissioning activities

What you bring 

  • CCNA certification or experience in managing and supporting Cisco Data and Voice Networks
  • Knowledge and skills related to network fundamentals including LAN switching technologies, IPv4 routing technologies, WAN technologies, infrastructure services, infrastructure security, and infrastructure management
  • Experience with Cisco wireless networks and Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine) as well as VOIP / QoS experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge in routing, switching and firewall configuration and monitoring network performance
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
