About the role

Our small team at Calvary Community Care are seeking an Occupational Therapist to work within our established multi-disciplinary team in an exciting Fixed Term Position for the next 12 months. 

As the Occupational Therapist you will undertake assessments and compile reports which outline your recommendations. This then goes to support our clients and inform case managers and other stakeholders under the home care package, CHSP and DVA programs.

This role is based at our Hunter Service Centre in Lambton with a pool car available for all client visits! Clients are located in the Hunter and Maitland region and there is an option to work from home when not face-to-face with clients.


What you bring  

  • Occupational Therapy registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia via Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) meeting annual continuing professional development (CPD) requirements
  • Recent clinical experience 
  • Team player with the ability to build client relationships and rapport
  • Current Driver’s Licence (Car)
  • Current COVID-19 Vaccinations
  • Understanding of home modifications (desirable)
