    About the role

    The Rehabilitation Unit on the St John’s Campus is seeking a motivated Occupational Therapist to join our great team of experienced health professionals. A locum Occupational Therapist is required to fill a 0.6FTE position from February 14th until March 2024. There will also be the opportunity to do some casual hours both during this time and at the conclusion of the locum.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct assessments and formulate, implement and review interventional plans for patients with functional difficulties
    • work as part of a multidisciplinary team
    • Utilize best-practice assessment tools appropriate to the patient, patient’s condition and situation
    • Maintain comprehensive and reliable reporting procedures
    • Attend and participate in patient conferences as required

    What you bring 

    • Registered with AHPRA, and a recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy
    • Demonstrated current skill and knowledge in the assessment, interpretation, implementation and evaluation of Occupational Therapy plans for rehabilitation patients
    • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
    • Computer literacy
    • Current Driver’s License
    • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
