About the role
Working within the National Shared Service payroll team, this role facilitates the timely and accurate processing of our fortnightly payroll for all employees across the Calvary group. You will be responsible for payroll processing end to end, including transactional processing of all wages, salaries, and allowances, as well as assisting with monthly superannuation payments, workers compensation, and salary packaging.
Working with key stakeholders across the organisation you will action employee changes, new hires, and terminations, ensuring that employee records are up to date and accurate at all times. Your strong communication skills will be required to respond to a range of queries from management and employees and ensuring timely communication of changes and updates to payroll processes, policies, and legislation to all employees. Well-developed analytical skills are essential for the continuous improvement of payroll procedures and to minimise risk. Ideally you will have experience working with a high-volume client-based payroll with frequent application of various allowances, loadings, and penalties.
