About the role

The purpose of this position is the daily operational management of the designated clinical department within Calvary Riverina. The Clinical Manager works closely with the Peri operative Manager to support the organisation and department’s business objectives and safe high quality patient care.

The position incumbent provides high level clinical leadership, models the values of Calvary and supports a positive and professional workplace culture.  

    

What you bring 

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in management, working towards same or equivalent  
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • A minimum of 5 years post graduate experience in public and/or private health sector
  • Proven management experience and leadership of diverse interdisciplinary teams
  • Demonstrated understanding of quality improvement and accreditation standards
  • Demonstrated understanding of contemporary clinical practice in relevant specialty areas
  • Demonstrated understanding and ability to manage key performance indicators within budget
  • Proven experience in change management, facilitating a positive workplace culture and workforce engagement
  • High level communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain positive and constructive relationships
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and in a multidisciplinary team with the ability to manage priorities and a busy workload.
  • Up to date immunisation status as outlined in the NSW Health Policy
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
