About the role

The purpose of the Procurement Administrator role is to support to Procurement Lead – Aged Care as requested and as reasonably expected of the position.
 
The Procurement Administrator will play a key role in the preparation and issuing of CACS as well as CRC Supplier Agreements, and will take ownership of administrative tasks associated with the day to day operation of the CACS and CRC Procurement Department.
This role will provide leave coverage for the purchasing Officer and support for development projects as determined by the Procurement Lead – Aged Care.
 

Primary Responsibilities Include

  • Preparation, issuing and coordination of preferred Supplier Agreements in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Assistance with group tender documentation as requested by Procurement Lead – Aged Care
  • Verification of gas, electricity and water invoices for the group; investigating/escalating issues where required.
  • Management of the Contracts Register as well as Supplier compliance documents 
  • Preparation, issuing and coordination of preferred Supplier Agreements in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Assistance with group tender documentation as requested by Procurement Lead – Aged Care
  • Proactively oversee group Procurement email inbox ensuring queries are promptly referred/followed up within agreed timeframes.
  • Completion of supplier-issued credit application documentation for new creditor and trading account creation.
  • Assist in the new vendor creation process and managing updates to existing creditor folders and information management systems 
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Procurement Lead – Aged Care as required and as reasonably expected of the position

What you bring

  • At least 5 years’ experience in an administrative role
  • Previous experience in Accounts Payable and/or Contract Management is desirable
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office with excellent Excel skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and an ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels and to operate effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent problem solving skills and an ability to convert complex ideas into simple, understandable and workable actions to ensure positive outcomes
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage processes to ensure appropriate quality outcomes within expected or non-negotiable timeframes
  • National Police Check and Right to Work in Australia
  • COVID-19 and Influenza vaccination are a mandatory requirements unless assessed
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation
