 About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic administrator to join our diverse, compassionate and dedicated team to provide effective and efficient administrative support and customer service in a busy health care setting. Our Administration Officer plays a key role in liaising with staff, clients and their families and ensuring the delivery of exemplary customer service. Calvary Community Care is based in Adelaide CBD with easy access via various public transport. Working 9-5, Monday to Friday. This is a fantastic opportunity to join us and play and integral role within our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • To greet visitors to the office and advise appropriate employees of their arrival, when and as required.
  • To answer incoming calls from clients and Support Workers promptly and courteously, providing clear and accurate information and referring enquires to appropriate person.
  • To be responsible for mail collection and distribution within service centre if required.
  • To undertake other administrative duties as required.
  • Demonstrated ability to use computers, especially emails, word processing, and the ability to become proficient in the GoldCare software.

  • Excellent Phone manner
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to work both within a team environment and autonomously
  • Proficient knowledge and application of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
