About the role

Calvary Health Care have an exciting opportunity for three Recruitment Consultants to join our growing team in supporting our services in growing their workforce. You will be responsible for coordinating the end to end recruitment and on boarding process, working closely with hiring managers to assist with screening, arranging interviews, phone screening, referee checking and moving candidates through our recruitment system. You will bring some experience in recruitment, along with strong organisation and administration skills. You thrive on competing demands and embrace the unpredictability that a typical day in recruitment and HR brings. These positions are for a 12 month fixed term contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the process for end-to-end recruitment using Calvary’s e-recruitment and on boarding system, including responding to queries from hiring managers and candidates
  • Assist Hiring Managers with screening candidates, ensuring unsuitable candidates are notified through the recruitment platform
  • Undertake phone screenings, referee checks, and collate panel reports
  • Develop productive working relationships with Hiring Managers and the Recruitment team

What you bring 

  • Tertiary qualifications a related discipline, or demonstrated equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
  • Highly developed skills and experience in using HRIS, e-recruitment systems and programs in the Microsoft Office suite  
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain trusted, collaborative and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, with experience in delivering presentations to internal stakeholders
  • A personal commitment to the Mission, Vision and Values of Calvary
  • A current and valid Driver’s Licence
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
