About the roles

Calvary North Adelaide Hospital is looking for enthusiastic, energetic and novice and experienced Registered Nurses to join their teams.

  • Medical Wards -Haematology and Oncology, General Medical, including Kimberley House Day Chemotherapy Centre
  • Surgical Wards – Urology, Colorectal, Gynaecology, Plastics, Paediatrics and General Surgery
  • Intensive Care Unit – Critical Care and General Registered Nurses in an 8 bed unit with capacity to overflow
  • Mary Potter Hospice – Palliative Care Unit, including the opportunity to rotate in our Community Palliative Care Service
  • Procedural Areas – Operating Theatres and Day Procedure Suite - Scrub, Scout, Anaesthetics, and General Registered Nurses.


  • The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of comprehensive care of a specific group of patients and provide support & direction to less senior registered colleagues, enrolled & student nurses, AIN’S and HSA’s.
  • The Enrolled Nurse is an employee who is registered with the AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse and works in consultation with the Registered Nurse and Clinical Manager of the ward/department, and under the supervision of Registered Nurse, provides comprehensive care for a specific group of patients
  • Provide care to a specific patient in inpatient areas, outpatient areas and procedural areas.
  • Practice in accordance with Calvary and relevant Government Health policies and procedures.

Skills and Experience

  • Current AHPRA registration and ability to work as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse
  • Recent nursing experience in surgical, medical, intensive care, oncology or procedural areas, desired, but not essential as learning and development clinical support provided.
  • excellent customer service
