Graduate Registered Midwife Program

We are looking for the best Graduate Midwives in the state to join our team and we’ll give you the best first-year development program in return!
We have multiple positions available within Calvary North Adelaide Hospital’s maternity department.
As a Registered Midwife you will be involved in direct patient care; development of relationships with like-minded professional people and will have active involvement in staff and patient education.

Our Graduate Transition Program Coordinators are dedicated educators to facilitate your program and provide exceptional support via monthly meetings, tailored study days and assistance and supervision in the clinical space as day to day check-ins.
The graduate registered midwife transition program runs for 12 months, that sees you rotate through all areas within the maternity department.

Candidates must hold Australian or NZ Citizenship or the capacity to permanently work in Australia. Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified for this position following suitable labour market testing.
As part of the application process, you may be required to participate in a health evaluation, which could include face to face assessment and drug and alcohol testing, to ensure your suitability for the role.
Positions involving regular contact with children or work in close proximity with children on a regular basis, will be required to obtain a WWCC Clearance as a condition of employment.
