Where you’ll be working
Hobart is Tasmania's capital with an old town salty-air feel; where you can have an early morning trip to the beach, wander city streets, eat world class food, head to a mountain summit and be back in time for cocktails on the waterfront. Located just five minutes from the heart of Hobart, Calvary Lenah Valley Hospital is the largest private hospital in Tasmania. We are leaders in Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics, Urology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Surgical and Medical Care.
We have a modern Maternity and Women’s Health Unit, which is a 34 bed ward, comprising of 21 postnatal/surgical beds, 5 birthing suite rooms and is supported by an 8 bed Level 2 Special Care Nursery.
Since our first baby was born in 1941, Calvary Lenah Valley Hospital has provided mother and baby centred services in our Maternity Unit. We are proud of our reputation for providing high-quality obstetric services in a warm and caring environment.
