Salary Range: $ 100,957 - $107,000 (Plus Super)

About the role

Key Responsibilities

  • The role and function of the Maternity 3S RML2 (Clinical Midwife) is to provide positive advanced clinical problem solving and leadership in the inpatient Maternity Unit.

  • The Registered Midwife will have experiential clinical knowledge in Midwifery practice and the appropriate experience to provide clinical leadership. 

  • This role provides clinical leadership and advice in the development and delivery of clinical policy and procedure and auditing of clinical standards.

  • The Clinical Midwife will be a mentor, clinical education resource and support for other less experienced midwifery staff.

  • The Clinical Midwife works in a collaborative multidisciplinary team, acting as a clinical leader and role model for others.

What you bring 

  • Proven leaderships skills and experience within the acute post and antenatal care setting
  • APRHA registration
  • IBCLC or working towards accreditation 
  • High level management and communication skills
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
