About the role

As the Registered Nurse you are responsible for providing clinical leadership to staff and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements to enable us to continue to deliver a high standard of care, services and most importantly a quality lifestyle for our residents. 

Located in the heart of Hunter Valley wine country, Calvary Cessnock Retirement Community offers quality care accommodation to 296 residents across two Residential Care sites; Bimbadeen and Nulkaba.

We are looking for a passionate Registered Nurse to join our team on a full time basis.

What you bring  

• Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA)
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the legislation governing aged care
• Experience in assessment and care planning of the older person
• Current Covid-19 Vaccinations
• A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation

*The salary and conditions for this position are in accordance with Calvary Retirement Communities Limited (NSW) and the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (NSW Branch) - Nursing Employees Enterprise Agreement 2019. The position is classified as a Registered Nurse. The classification will vary according to the candidates experience, 1st Year to Thereafter, the salary range is from $34.42 to $45.54 per hour based on relevant experience.
