Registered Nurse (Level 1) – Calvary Healthcare Clinic
- Join a small team of mental health nurses providing care to patients suffering from a mental health diagnosis at Calvary Clinic in Launceston
- Permanent, part time position (40 hours per fortnight), mix of shifts available

About the role
The position is based at our Mental Health unit at St Luke's campus in Launceston. As the Registered Nurse you will provide direct nursing care utilising clinical skills, education and support to patients and nursing staff within the Mental Health unit to ensure the provision of best practice and quality patient care.
The post holder will work within a small team environment. Excellent communication skills and the motivation to achieve good outcomes for our patients is a must. Ideally, you would bring experience in the mental health field or an interest and ability for further study.
This is a permanent, part time position working 40 hours per fortnight, with the opportunity to work additional shifts as and when available.
What you bring
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting, desirable in Mental health.
- Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
