About the role
We are looking for self-motivated and vibrant Registered Nurses with previous acute care nursing experience to join our dynamic Perioperative Team at the new state-of-the-art Calvary Adelaide Hospital. Successful candidates would not require prior knowledge in the perioperative area. The Perioperative Transition Program (POTP) is a 12 month supported program developing skills and knowledge within the specialty area. We are commencing this Program in March 2023. There are multiple positions available within scrub/scout, anaesthetics and recovery, for Registered Nurses. Ongoing permanent employment is offered at the end of the 12 months when all Program requirements have been met.
Our POTP at Calvary Adelaide Hospital is based on a best practice Transition Changes Model, to support you to be the best you can be in your professional practice. Our POTP Coordinator and Educators are dedicated to facilitate your program and provide exceptional support via regular meetings, tailored study sessions and assistance and supervision in the clinical space with day to day check-ins.
