About the role

As the Registered Nurse you are responsible for providing clinical leadership to staff and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements to enable us to continue to deliver a high standard of care, services and most importantly a quality lifestyle for our residents.

You will be provide clinical leadership, support and mentoring to our care team, using your excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build collaborative relationships. Facilitating input from residents, their families, our team and internal and external health professionals you will enable us to continue to deliver a high standard of care, services and most importantly a quality lifestyle for our residents. 

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating the delivery of quality clinical services in line with a resident centred model of care 
  • Clinical practice in line with current legislative and nursing practice guidelines 
  • Maintaining current knowledge and understanding of Aged Care Funding models 
  • Managing and provide efficient, effective and compassionate care planning and assessment 
  • Responsible to ensure medication management is provided in a safe and effective manner in line with legislative requirements and CRC policy 

What you bring 

  • Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the legislation governing aged care
  • Demonstrated experience in assessment and care planning of the older person
  • Ability to support and lead a multi-disciplinary team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated computer literacy
  • Current Covid-19 vaccinations including booster are mandatory unless assessed exempt
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others
