 About the role

As the Registered Nurse you are responsible for providing clinical leadership to staff and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements to enable us to continue to deliver a high standard of care, services and most importantly a quality lifestyle for our residents. 

Seeking Registered nurses for Calvary community care to deliver acute nursing care in our Client's Home. This position is offered as a permanent full time. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all clinical aspects of Darwin and Tiwi clients
  • The Registered Nurse practises independently and interdependently, assuming accountability and responsibility for their own actions and delegation of care to Enrolled Nurses and Support Workers within program, state/territory and CCC guidelines. The Registered Nurse provides evidence-based nursing care to people of all ages and cultural groups, including individuals, families and communities.

  • The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary health care team so as to achieve goals and health outcomes for Calvary Community Care clients.
  • The role of the Registered Nurse includes promotion and maintenance of health and prevention of illness for individuals with physical or mental illness, disabilities and/or rehabilitation needs, as well as alleviation of pain and suffering at the end stage of life.

What you bring 

  • AHPRA nursing registration -Registered Nurse
  • Experience in community nursing or a desire to move into this field of nursing
  • Based in Darwin with ability to start and finish work from home as required
  • Work autonomously
  • Delivering acute nursing care in the client's home
