About the role

Within the framework of the mission, vision, values, philosophy and policies of Calvary, the Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision and documentation of safe, effective and appropriate patient care, inpatient,  and/or Community (Outreach patients) in a patient-focused environment. The position will involve an active participation in and promotion of Specialist Palliative care as a member of the Specialist Palliative Care Team. Registered Nurses in the Department of Palliative Care work within a strong multidisciplinary team, providing exceptional care for patients and their families with life limiting illnesses.

What you bring  

  • Strong interest in professional development and working in team nursing environments
  • Bachelor degree in nursing, post graduate experience desirable
  • Acute care experience essential 
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
