Fixed Term Full Time Position

Salary: $112,917 - $ 141,084 (Plus Super)


About the role 

The Obstetrics and Gynaecology Non-Accredited Registrar position provides support to the department of Women’s and Infants Health Unit through;

    • Practice in accordance with Calvary and relevant Government Health policies and procedures, the position description, Code of Conduct and industrial agreements.
    • Work in accordance with the mission and vision of Calvary and actively participate in developing a culture that promotes Calvary’s values of healing, hospitality, stewardship and respect.
    • Participate in meetings and education sessions as scheduled.
    • Assist in the supervision of interns and residents and engage in opportunities for the extension of their clinical knowledge and skills.
    • Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, apply medical knowledge and experience in the diagnosis, investigation and treatment of patients.
    • Maintain effective communication with patients and the relatives, hospital staff, medical colleagues including General Practitioners.
    • Participate in scheduled handover meetings.
    • Maintain close liaison with Consultants regarding patient conditions.


What you bring  

    • Your passion and skill which is shown in your full registration/eligible registration as a medical practitioner with the AHPRA
    • Previous experience as Obstetrics and Gynaecology registrar or equivalent.
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
    • Proven competence in applying Medical knowledge and sound judgement in clinical diagnosis, investigation and treatment of patients
    • Your customer focused team skills teamed with your excellent teamwork skills in a multidisciplinary team.
    • Ability to assist interns and residents to extend their clinical skills and knowledge.
