About the role

The Remuneration and Benefits Consultant plays a key role in contributing to the development and implementation of the remuneration and benefits strategy and frameworks at Calvary to ensure it is fit for purpose, aligns to industry standards and supports the attraction and retention of employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promoting benefits and rewards programs across the organisation.
  • Forming partnerships with external benefits providers to further grow the employee benefits suite.
  • Support and coordinate job evaluations, salary benchmarking and market research and analysis that contributes to improving employee engagement, attraction and retention.
  • Review and maintain remuneration principles and procedures including compensation package design.

What you bring 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline together with experience in a related role
  • Understanding of remuneration and benefits best practice with experience contributing to employee value proposition and reward strategies.
  • Experience and knowledge in designing and implementing remuneration and reward frameworks
  • Accredited and/or experienced in job evaluation methodology
  • Strong attention to detail with experience in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in reporting and review of data to identify gaps and continuous improvement


  • Experience in aged or community and/or health care
  • Experienced in the use of Human Resource Information Systems, preferably Chris21
