Calvary Hobart is once again offering an exciting opportunity to University of Tasmania Bachelor of Nursing 2 year (Accelerated) Hobart based students, to become part of our Student Nursing Internship Program for 2023. This program aims to comprehensively support participants with the development of nursing skills and in the transition from student to graduate nurse.
The internship program will commence in 2023, and consists of 3 blocks of allocated clinical Professional Experience Placement (PEP) throughout the year at Calvary Hobart, ongoing mentorship, performance feedback and performance appraisals. It is anticipated that all Student Interns will complete the program by December 2023.
Successful students of this program, upon meeting the selected criteria, will gain permanent 0.8FTE Registered Nurse positions via direct entry to the Calvary Hobart Graduate Nurse Transition Program (GNTP) for 2024.
