About the role
As a Support Worker - Disability your role will be to assist a diverse range of clients of all ages with all or some of the following:
activities of daily living
transport
domestic assistance and
social support in their home or in the community
This is a rewarding role offering you the flexibility to work your preferred hours. The current ordinary rate of pay is $33.33 per hour plus superannuation. Employees also have access to generous salary packaging benefits.
What you bring
A Certificate III or IV Disability or minimum Cert III in Individualised Support Disability Speciality or a superseded qualification combined with experience in a related field
Current and valid Driver’s Licence, comprehensive insurance, reliable motor vehicle and smart mobile phone
Effective verbal and written communication skills
High customer service orientation
Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
NDIS Worker Screening clearance
Capacity to embrace a role that is meaningful for the community and yourself
Proficiency in use of technology such as smart phones, email and internet
A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
