An exciting opportunity for skilled and experienced Registered Nurses exists to undertake a Clinical Nurse position for the general ward. The ward is a mix of patients from multiple surgical and medical specialities.
About the role
Support Clinical Manager in everyday running of the department including: stock management, education, HR matters, and liaising with Allied Health and Medical Officers
Be accountable for the delivery of direct patient care
Provide clinical support and direction to Registered, Enrolled, Graduate, Novice and Student Nurses
Demonstrate leadership qualities, be appropriately qualified, experienced and a motivated health professional who is able to impart their knowledge and expertise to ensure safe, high quality clinical care that meet relevant standards
Ensure a culture of clinical excellence, contemporary practice and professional development within the clinical speciality
Your main duties will include:
Demonstrated recent acute clinical experience in Medical and Surgical nursing
Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
Be a lead champion in one of the 8 NSQHS standards
About you
AHPRA Registration
The applicant must have a minimum of 3 years acute nursing experience
Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
