The Application Process

The Application

To apply for a role, you will first need to complete an online application that includes your resume and a cover letter to highlight your experience. Your application will then be assessed and you will be contacted if you are shortlisted.



Depending on the role, you might be contacted by someone from our recruitment team to complete a phone interview, or go straight to a face-to-face interview. 

During your face-to-face interview, you will meet with the Hiring Manager and any other key stakeholders. You will be provided with an overview of the role and what it is like to work at Calvary. You will also be asked questions to help us assess your suitability for the role.


Pre-employment Checks

Once you’ve made it through the interview process, we’ll contact the two work-related references you provided. 

Due to the nature of what Calvary does, there will be a number of compliance screening checks that we need to complete. Depending on the role, this may include:

  • Criminal History Check
  • NDIS Screening Check
  • Work Rights Check
  • Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Checks
  • Pre-employment medical evaluation to ensure you meet the physical requirements of the role
  • Immunisation Screening

We will inform you about what is required for the role through the recruitment process.

Once we have sent your offer of employment, you just need to log in to your applicant portal, accept your offer and complete your New Starter Paperwork.
