About the role

Joining our dedicated, passionate care team, you will support the Home Manager and peers in delivering high quality resident care within the home. You will be part of an integrated team of people attending to the personal needs and ensuring high quality care is always provided to our residents.

Millward is located only minutes from the Eastern Freeway and is surrounded by picturesque gardens, offering a welcoming and tranquil environment, with a harmonious blend of traditional and contemporary comforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support residents to live the life they choose allowing them to exercise choice and independence.
• Assist the residents with their personal care and hygiene needs whilst encouraging their independence.
• Contribute to the physical, emotional and lifestyle needs and wants of the residents, through assessment and observation.
• Implement clinical and care interventions as delegated by the Registered Nurse, and as documented in the resident’s plan of care.

What you bring:

• A Certificate III in Aged Care is preferable, however not essential
• Previous experience in a similar role in Aged Care is preferable
• A passion for working in Aged Care and a sound understanding of the sector
• Effective interpersonal communication; both written and verbal
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads
