Seeking an Allied Health Assistant to join an established rehab allied health team in a permanent full time role.
A Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance / comparable qualification is highly desirable
About the role
We are seeking an Allied Health Assistants to join our multidisciplinary allied health team. The Calvary Adelaide allied health team
provides services across a range of specialties including orthopaedic, cardiorespiratory, general medicine, general surgery, neurosurgery,
and neurology. The role will encompass providing services within our onsite short-stream inpatient rehabilitation service.
As a successful candidate in the permanent full time role, you will provide allied health services within the rehab ward across Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy disciplines.
Your main duties will include:
Provide high quality evidence-based care to clients with a wide variety of conditions under the direction of allied health professionals
Manage a diverse caseload of patients
Support therapy programmes such as hydrotherapy, group exercise and functional retraining sessions.
About you
Ability to work under supervision and direction
Ability to work flexibly and perform a range of diverse tasks
Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance / comparable qualification (preferred)
Experience working within a healthcare setting (preferred)
Experience working as an Allied Health Assistant (preferred)
Dynamic, adaptable, and innovative approach to providing safe and high quality care
