    About the role

    We are currently seeking Travelling Registered Nurse to join the Cath Lab team at Calvary Launceston. Staff are responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate patient care to patients undergoing cardiac and interventional cardiology procedures. This role involves both admitting patients to the unit and providing a high standard of post-procedural/post-anaesthetic care to our patients.

    If you can simply pack your bags and get ready to go. Calvary will take care of your travel logistics with provided flights*, accommodation, and a Living Away from Home Allowance (LAFHA) to cover meal expenses.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Scrub/scout role
    • Patient advocate
    • Consistently and enthusiastically delivers high levels of patient service to exceed patient expectations
    • Knowledge of and a demonstrated commitment to quality processes and evidence based practises, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to these improvements
    • Practice in accordance with Calvary and relevant Government Health policies and procedures, the position description, Code of Conduct, industrial agreements and ANMC competencies

    What you bring 

    • Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
    • Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
    • Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
    • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
