An opportunity has arisen for an Enrolled Nurse to join the Perioperative Suite at Calvary St Vincent's Hospital. We offer a variety of specialities such as General, Colorectal, Gynaecology, Plastics, Urology, Maxillofacial, Dental, and Vascular. About the role:

The Perioperative Enrolled Nurse can work in Day Surgery, Anaesthetics, Scrub and/or Scout and is responsible for ensuring safe, effective and appropriate patient care before, during and after surgery. The position works under the direction of the Registered Nurse and reports to the Nurse Unit Manager. 

What you bring: 

  • AHPRA Registration with a current practising certificate
  • Previous perioperative experience preferred, or willingness to learn
  • Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting
  • Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
