    • Salary Classification: Registered Nurse Yr 1-8.
    • Remuneration: $36.38-$51.08 per hour + superannuation + annual leave loading + salary packaging options + RDO's 

    THE ROLE:

    The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe, effective, and appropriate care in an inpatient and outreach environment. The successful applicant will actively participate in promoting and implementing Specialist Palliative Care Services. 

    DUTIES:

    • Perform comprehensive and accurate nursing assessment of patients.
    • Plan appropriate care in consultation with patient and multidisciplinary team.
    • Timely, complete and accurate documentation of nursing care and patient progress.

    ABOUT YOU:

    • Registered Nurse authorised to practise by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
    • Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care, hospital or palliative care setting.
    • Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work within a harmonious collaborative team.
    • Demonstrated ability to critically appraise new clinical situations and environments and plan safe, appropriate patient care with the multidisciplinary team.
    • Demonstrated ability to initiate/be involved in quality improvement projects using sound planning and evaluation of outcomes.
    • Demonstrated commitment to own personal and professional development as evidenced by personal portfolio.
