About the role
We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse with strong leadership and interest in career progression to join our team as a Level 2 Registered Nurse on a permanent part-time 0.64 FTE basis.
Your main duties will include:
- Provides advanced clinical care to patients based on best practice principles.
- Acts as a clinical resource and problem solver for Registered and Enrolled Nurses in the management of patient care
- Uses effective communication skills when interacting with patients, significant others and the multi-disciplinary team. Acts as a client advocate, collaborating to achieve optimal health outcomes
- Promotes and participates in team building and decision-making.
- Provides leadership and support on the ward as part of the current leadership team.
About you
- Valid APHRA registration
- Previous nursing experience, minimum of 2years
- Can work a flexible rotating roster
- Computer literacy skills
- Willing to undertake appropriate further education
- Willing to hold and develop a clinical portfolio
