Enrolled Nurse and Assistant in Midwifery – Postnatal Unit Join our expanding maternity service and support new mums on their journey home.
About the Role
We have Enrolled Nurse and Assistant in Midwifery roles open now.
Your duties will include:
Deliver safe, sensitive, family-focused care to mothers and babies
Work hands-on alongside midwives and RNs to support feeding, bonding and discharge planning
Educate families on postnatal self-care, infant care and community supports
Champion infection control and clinical best practice
About You
AHPRA-registered Enrolled Nurse with medication endorsement (Enrolled Nurse only)
Current undergraduate Bachelor of Midwifery student who has completed a 2nd year clinical practice placement or is compliant with the relevant/current Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement (Assistant in Midwifery)
Postnatal or maternity care experience is highly desirable
Compassionate, calm under pressure and detail-oriented
Excellent communicator who thrives in a collaborative team
